Another trip is in the books and we have the pictures to prove it. Make sure you check out the photo section to see them. Tyler really has some great photos there. I have not been updating the website as often as I would like to but life has been very busy so I apologize. I will be more diligent in the future about getting it updated so everyone can stay informed. Our next outing will be August 22 and 23 at Mermet Springs. There will a little of everything going on such as Open Water dives, Advanced Open Water dives, a lot of fun and bonding. Come on out and don't forget about the new game, Stump the AI candidate. There are a couple other outings coming up in the near future. Current River cleanup at Van Buren will be on August 30th, plan to be there around 8am so we can get done before all the boating takes place. NSS-CDS annual Poplar Bluff workshop at Perkins starting September 18th 6pm to continue September 19th at 8am. Entry fee covers lunch on September 20th. There will be speakers from everywhere to put out some good information. I've even heard tell there may be a magician doing some tricks. DUI Dog Days will be taking place at Mermet Springs on September 26 and 27. DUI will be providing lunch and a chance to demo their full line of drysuits along with all of their other gear. Make sure to get by Ozark Dive Company to get your tickets. Advance tickets save you a little money than buying them on site. Our next meeting will be on September 9th at Perkins 6:30pm. Don't miss it. I'm sure it will as fun as it was this month.
